Newina Rotorua

Well first of all it looked exactly like the pictures on booking.com/online which is not always the case, ✅ It was immaculately clean upon our arrival and smelt clean ✅ Lovely manager at reception ✅ Parking was outside our door ✅ Close to everything we needed including the Woolworths that was just across the road ✅ The heated pool, gym, and sauna were perfect ✅ Great smart tv with everything we needed including the Unbelievably luxurious beds (I want that exact mattress for my bed at home now) lol ✅ Great view of the top of the skyline gondolas lights ✅ I will be back 🤩🤩🤩 If I had to find a fault it’s the road noise, which was only a little bit, but that went once we got in to the evening, and there is great soundproofing in the room.

The location was fabulous. I was impressed with how the staff actively looked for ways to make a positive difference. In particular, while swimming, one lady brought over pool towels without being asked. She then grabbed our room towels, folded them, and dropped to our room door. Customer focused went above and beyond! The little things make a big difference.

I recently spent my birthday at the Newina in Rotorua and stayed for two wonderful days. Here are my thoughts: The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few steps away from shopping and dining options, making it super convenient for anything you might need. The facilities are excellent, with recently renovated rooms that are clean, airy, and extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool, which is perfect for year-round use; we took advantage of it in November and had a great time! I also appreciated the well-organized parking, which made our stay hassle-free—something I’ve struggled with at other places. Our room had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed and an excellent shower. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist when needed, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Nice, new complex, so everything worked, looked shiny and new. Bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows (often something I struggle with at motels/hotels for being too soft - these were great).

This is a fantastic location. Very clean and our room was cleaned daily as well. Very tidy. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but was still a good bed to sleep in. The staff were very friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. The room was a great size. I really like that it had a great size kitchenette and all its ammenities. The room had a very new and updated feel. Large bathroom with a lovey shower over a bath too.
